1) What do you expect to learn from this pod-casting project?
--Our podcast revolves around cooking fusion dishes that combine Japanese & American elements. We We hope to show how interesting this can be by introducing new ingredients into traditional recipes. We don't expect everyone to appreciate our methods, but those who think this is a "fun" video will walk away with the most knowledge.
As a group, we hope to refine our cooking skills when applied to Japanese dishes. We will take dishes like gyoza, ramen, sushi & octopus and Americanize them the best we can.
As an individual, I hope that my experimentation & curiosity involving Japanese food will become viral--inspiring others to cook creatively & use all types of ingredients.
2) In my opinion, "communication" refers to the cognitive relay of thoughts & ideas, between separate entities, through language, gestures & symbols (what we know as letters, kana, or kanji).
